Leave VSWR as it is, but also use a diode rectifier to sniff-off a bit or RF. The recovered DC is proportional to the RF but with a square law. Add an extra meter.

If FSD = 10 Watts then 10% FSD = 100mW

VSWR Bridge

Post by HILL G on Wed Feb 12, 2014 5:41 am

Hello Harry,
Your site is very inspiring and I keep coming back to it over and over for the last twelve years. I am an addict and wish I had as much knowledge as you have! I am glad that I learnt quite a few things from your site. Hat's off to you Harry and wish you keep your flag flying high.

I built a Class A amp delivering about 350-400mW. I have connected the load to a 6V 2W lamp and it glows almost half brilliance(Perhaps). Now I would like to put it out to an antenna. What modification is needed in your VSWR bridge to Show VSWR and Power. I would gratefully appreciate your help. Thanks and Best Regards, Hill
