Over the past three weeks I have been updating the HTML files to correct the extra code that Teleport inserted. This has been done, manually, on every HTML file on the server.

You may well have reloaded after a file was corrected. I finished the last remaining files at the end of last week.

Very best regards from Harry - SM0VPO

PS - Ivan, You and I should communicate shortly. There is a big change coming to my life, after which I will once again have a lot more time for radio, but in a different way.

Hi Harry,

now it seems to be OK. First, I saw the Teleport message again, but it came probably from my local cache. After reloading, the message disappeared.

Hi Ivan,
It seems I have to go through EVERY html file on the pages. I have corrected the "power" section you checked, so please let me know if it ok for you.

I am steadily plodding through all the rest.

BR Harry

Hi Harry
I looked for your new article. When I clicked on an arbitrary topic on your homepages, a dialogue appeared:"http://www.sm0vpo.com/power/pic-inverter_03.htm
This file was not retrieved by Teleport Pro, because it was unavailable, or its retrieval was aborted, or the project was stopped too soon. Do you want to open it from the server?" The Teleport really seems to destroy HTML documents effectively...

Anyone ever used Teleport?

Post by Admin on Tue Mar 25, 2014 6:12 pm

I made a little mistake using TELEPORT.EXE and used it to download my own homepages to a memory card so I could edit during my lunch breaks.

Bad idea  Mad

It changes all the nicely hand-coded HTML. For example:

<CENTER><IMG ALIGN=TOP SRC="coils2.gif"></CENTER><p>

becomes:

<CENTER><IMG ALIGN=TOP SRC="coils2.gif" tppabs="http://www.sm0vpo.com/data/coils2.gif"></CENTER><p>

Here is an ever worse example:

<p>Alternatively you can meet me at the <a href="http://www.jumbostay.se/DynPage.aspx?id=58482&mn1=5562">Arlanda Jumbo Hotell</a>, see before you buy, and skip the postage.</p>

becomes:

<p>Alternatively you can meet me at the <a href="javascript:if(confirm('http://www.jumbostay.se/DynPage.aspx?id=58482&mn1=5562  \n\nThis file was not retrieved by Teleport Pro, because it is addressed on a domain or path outside the boundaries set for its Starting Address.  \n\nDo you want to open it from the server?'))window.location='http://www.jumbostay.se/DynPage.aspx?id=58482&mn1=5562'" tppabs="http://www.jumbostay.se/DynPage.aspx?id=58482&mn1=5562">Arlanda Jumbo Hotell</a>, see before you buy, and skip the postage.</p>

So is there any way to "convert" the code back to the original, as I wrote it, other than opening every HTML document and deleteing the rubbish?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Best regards from Harry - SM0VPO
