Hi Runem
You were so helpful with the IC I needed I thought maybe you or someone else might know someone I could text about this. The Organ is a Lowrey D 325. This IC and 6 more CD4001's got it working pretty well but it still has some minor problems. I am a TV tech and not very good with music so this is a little above my knowledge. I have the service manual but it is an analogue organ was made in the 70's and has a very complicated diode keying circuit in it.

Hi Runem
Thank you very much. I checked the spec sheet and that is it for sure. I just didn't know how to find it when I couldn't inter change it using that number. I found them at Digi-Key.com

Oh, I see it's a quad package!
From this site I figured out from the parts number that it maybe is a RC4136, which is slighly less noisy than 741. Now you should have a wide range of options, but beware the pinouts of course.

It wouldn't surprise me if the RAYC7941 in fact is just a plain 741 (in a metal can?) and you can simply substitute it with that or a CA3140 if you suspect it is a FET version.
If you can't find a metal can version of the 741 cheaply, make an adaptor.

Need Op-Amp

Post by Jalex2 on Thu Jan 24, 2013 2:16 am

I am working on a Lowery Organ and it has a bad op-amp
The part number is 9910227941 below is RAYC7941.
It's a low bandwidth op-amp with -15 on pin 7 and +15 on pin 11 for the Bass signal
